A caravan of public health specialists left the capital Luanda “Angola” on April 17, 2020, for the poor regions as the country ramps up COVID-19. Emergency response to the team will work with provincial administrative and health authorities as part of the COVID-19 response to bolster their ability to curb the virus from spreading further. The COVID-19 response initiative is being under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, with technical and financial support from the World Health Organization, the COVID-19 response initiative aims to step up the sub-national rapid response through training of local health professionals in 4 key areas: case management, risk communication, epidemiological surveillance, logistics, and Bio-safety. To strengthen the fight against COVID-19 in Angola, World Health Organization calls for the collaboration of the entire population to comply with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health regarding physical distancing, use of protective masks, including home-made, to prevent the risks of transmission and contamination of the disease.

In my opinion, COVID-19 is a hidden enemy that has afflicted many people around the world. the good thing was be provided from Ministry of Health to help the poor people. Furthermore, poor people don’t have knowledge or material and technical support to overcome this virus it will infect one and will be transfer to hundreds from same region.
